Walled Garden

My family and I are members of the National Trust and we are lucky enough to live within
easy distance of many truly beautiful houses and gardens. This painting was inspired by the
dreamy walled gardens of Batemans, Sissinghurst and Chartwell. I love the striking contrast
between the red of the bricks and the blues, greens and purples of the flowerbeds.

An original painting, finished in 2024. Acrylic and ink on canvas in a white and waxed,
shallow tray frame.
