Painting is my passion. I love playing with colour and texture to create beautiful images.
I have a degree from the Ruskin College of Fine Art, University of Oxford where I was tutored by renowned artists Richard Wentworth and Brian Catling. I participated in several group exhibitions in my early twenties and was represented by the WW Gallery in East London. In my mid-twenties I went to college to study Finance and Business and began a career in Wealth Management. My passion for painting stayed with me and I continued to make and sell work.
My art practice, although crammed into the edges of my life at that time, offered a moment of peace and a chance to pause and take stock. When I was expecting my little girl and during the years that followed, I felt an increasing energy and excitement for painting and I have gradually carved out more and more space in my life for my art.
I feel honoured and deeply blessed to be able to devote myself to something that brings me so much joy and peace and it is my wish that, through my paintings, I can deliver that sense of joy and peace to my collectors.
This 2024 collection consists of largely abstract works that are often inspired by nature and always personal to me in some way. The images are created through a process of adding and paring back, using a range of different techniques and media. They are then carefully edited until the colours and forms are beautifully balanced.
Each of my paintings is professionally scanned by Neal Scrase Fine Art services and printed on highest quality, luxurious cotton canvas or etching paper. This process produces beautiful, affordable prints that are strikingly like the original works.
