Carnival1

I began making this pair of images during the Summer months, inspired by a wonderful
holiday in France. We visited a couple of cities on our way to the coast and my experience of
the bustling streets and warm beaches is reflected in the vibrant palette and energetic
brushstrokes.

An original painting, finished in 2024. Acrylic and ink on paper in a simple blue wooden
frame.
