Circles

I made this painting on a warm Spring day. I immersed myself in a variety of different colours and techniques to build a foundation. To draw focus towards some interesting moments in the painting, I added a more muted layer and left windows to reveal the colours and shapes beneath. The result is an image with presence and depth that I am particularly fond of. I hope you like it too!

An original painting, finished in 2024. Acrylic, ink and water-based emulsion on canvas in a white and waxed, shallow tray frame.
